Brexit 2021 communication from Avery Berkel

We would like to provide our European partners and customers with an update on the changes we have made to ensure a smooth and secure transition in the supply of equipment and spare parts following the UK's withdrawal from the EU.

Avery Berkel is a wholly owned subsidiary of ITW Limited and operates throughout the EU along with many other ITW businesses including Hobart, Foster, Bonnet, Elettrobar and MBM. ITW is heavily invested within the EU with facilities including manufacturing plants, warehousing and offices located across many parts of the region.

As part of our preparations for Brexit we transferred our UK Type Approval certificates for our products over to EU-27 Type Approval certificates. We also have NAWI certification from that allows us to continue with EU-27 full verifications.

From 1st January 2021 carriage, transport and customs clearance for shipments to EU partners will be handled directly by Avery Berkel, this avoids the need for any of our partners to become EU Importers.
